Ultrasonic Plastic Welder is a machine used to join two thermoplastics by acquiring a heated state under adequate pressure. A filler material is used while fusing two plastics together. This welder creates a cross-linking of molecules of the work pieces and hence the bond becomes unbreakable. Electrical energy is converted into high frequency mechanical motion by the machine to create a frictional heat at the fused place. Assembled ultrasonically, the sound vibrations travels through the material and focuses on the joint place for heat to develop at the point needed.
